This tall wheel-thrown stoneware bowl has a refined, upright form that flares gently at the rim. The exterior is decorated with vertical lines, giving the surface a rhythmic, textile-like texture that contrasts beautifully with the warm, speckled clay beneath.
Inside, a soft glossy glaze brings depth and warmth, while the outside remains more matte and tactile, highlighting the natural qualities of the stoneware. Despite its height, the piece feels light in the hands thanks to the thin throwing and careful shaping.
Perfect as a serving bowl, a display piece, or simply as a sculptural object that brings subtle character to a room.
Hand-thrown and fired to 1260°C in oxidation.
Glaze is non-toxic and food-safe.
