This wheel-thrown stoneware bowl has a tall, elegant profile that narrows to a steady foot before opening into a wide rim. The exterior is decorated with layered slip and oxide flicks in soft blues, greys, and warm rust tones, creating a lively, painterly surface while still letting the texture of the clay come through.
Inside, the bowl is finished with a smooth, semi-gloss ivory glaze that settles into the throwing rings and brightens the form. The contrast between the clean interior and the expressive, unglazed exterior gives the piece a balanced, contemporary feel.
Generous in scale and full of character, it works beautifully as a serving bowl or as a standalone centrepiece.
Hand-thrown and fired to 1260°C in oxidation.
Glaze is non-toxic and food-safe.
