This pair of wheel-thrown stoneware bowls is designed to nest neatly together, each one echoing the other’s form while having its own distinct glaze. The interiors are finished in smooth, glossy tones — one a soft slate blue, the other a warm earthy brown — creating a subtle, complementary contrast.
The exteriors are left unglazed, showing the natural texture and colour of the clay, which gives the set a grounded, tactile feel. The shallow, open shape makes them ideal for serving, sharing, or using as centrepiece bowls on the table.
Beautiful individually, and even better as a pair.
Hand-thrown and fired to 1260°C in oxidation.
Glaze is non-toxic and food-safe.
