This wheel-thrown porcelain bowl has a striking funnel-shaped form, flaring gently outward from a narrow foot. The surface is created using marbled porcelain, with soft blue and white tones swirling through the clay in fine, linear patterns. The result is calm, airy, and beautifully understated.
The interior shows the marbling in smooth, subtle rings, while the exterior carries more expressive streaks that wrap around the form. Thrown thin and finished with a soft satin glaze, the bowl feels light but refined, making it ideal as a serving piece or a sculptural object on its own.
A quietly distinctive piece that celebrates the natural movement of coloured porcelain.
Hand-thrown and fired to 1260°C in oxidation.
Glaze is non-toxic and food-safe.
